9 Place Increased for Maldives in FIFA Rankings (December 2009)

Maldives got a nine place increment in the FIFA ranking announced this Month. Now Maldives remained at 137th in the world and 23rd in Asia. The new ranking means Maldives are just three positions behind India in world ranking and 1 position behind them in Asia. The new move also means Maldives are above some of the well known countries in Asia, such as Myanmar, Lebanon, Turkmenistan and Hong Kong.
